All colour images are also available as black & white prints. The b&w previews offered here are produced by simply desaturating the image via Javascript. The result is a neutral b&w preview which may appear flat or too dark/bright. Before printing, however, each image is individually assessed and adjusted for best contrast, tonal quality, and dynamic range.
Tenerife
With images from the largest of the Canary islands. Like the other islands, Tenerife is also of volcanic origin and the cone shaped Teide, Spain´s highest mountain, stands at its centre rising 3718m above the sea. It also features splendid beaches and beautiful nature and colonial architecture which attract millions of visitors each year.
