black & white previews
All colour images are also available as black & white prints. The b&w previews offered here are produced by simply desaturating the image via Javascript. The result is a neutral b&w preview which may appear flat or too dark/bright. Before printing, however, each image is individually assessed and adjusted for best contrast, tonal quality, and dynamic range.

Fishes abound in the cristal clear water of the Plitvice lakes
Plitvice is Croatia`s oldest and largest national park with 16 emerald green lakes stretching 8km in length and forming part of the unique karst landscape. The water is supersaturated with calcium carbonate which deposits as small crystals forming the several terraces along the path of the river. This process started about 10,000 years ago and still continues today.
